The price per gallon of gas is going up, up, up, and there is NOTHING anyone can do to stop it. Adding to that problem is the fact that all kinds of random events both in this country and abroad, jack the price up without warning. A hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico ... price of gas goes up. Somebody blows up a bridge in Nigeria ... price of gas goes up. Speculators in London need to make more money ... the price of gas goes up. A refinery in Texas catches fire due to some accident ... price of gas goes up.

70% of all the oil used to produce gas in this country comes from outside this country. Much of it from people that couldn't care less about our economic concerns. If we use less gas, they produce less oil to jack the price up. And 100% of the oil that is produced inside the US is sold on the global market, so we pay the same amount for a barrel of oil pumped out of the ground in Oklahoma as we do for a barrel of oil pumped out of the ground in Saudi Arabia. |

Every day, we are pumping tons of carbon into the atmosphere. Okay, there may very well be some
disagreement on the effects of global warming, but it's for real and it's getting worse and our country has
NO PLAN for how to reverse the trend for at least 25 YEARS!!

The people who supposedly have the power and the desire to address these concerns (i.e. politicians, regulators, etc.) are bought and paid for by the very people who are causing the concerns in the first place! Hah! Leave it up to them and what you get is fuel efficiency standards that don't take effect for 10 YEARS. You get energy policy that won't produce additional energy for 10 YEARS OR MORE. You get environmental policies that won't reduce carbon emissions for 25 YEARS. Oh huh, you think these cats are really looking out for us?

The Answer Is Already Here
|
|
|
|
Believe it or not, the technology used to accomplish an amazing improvement in gas efficiency has been around for YEARS. It's not hype or snake oil or "secret patented" mystery stuff. It has been in the public domain for about fifty years. It's been part of the energy grid for the International Space Station since the beginning. Plenty of research and results have been reported from all around the globe for decades. It's called "Hydrogen-On-Demand" and it's widely available around the world.

So, why haven't we heard about it already?
|
|
|
|
Why doesn't everyone in the world (or at least the United States!) know about this "miracle" solution?

BMW has already developed a
new version of a Hydrogen-on-
Demand car. Obviously, this is
some serious technology we've
got here!

Only problem is, BMW's version
isn't available yet (they call it
FUTURE TECHNOLOGY) and
when it is it's going to cost
about $60,000.

|
Whew! Fortunately for us,
WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT
YEARS, AND WE DON'T
HAVE TO SPEND
THOU$AND$ OF DOLLAR$!! |

Well, the truth is, we have been hearing about it. We just haven't been paying attention. Sure, we're interested NOW, with gas heading back to $3/gal. NOW that we understand the cost of having our primary energy source controlled by foreign governments. NOW that we see how easily our supply can be interrupted.

|
|
But, until this "perfect storm" of forces elevated gas efficiency into the lime light, most people just didn't feel the pain enough to care about the technology, much less invest in it. Energy experts in this country have been saying for several years that Americans won't get really upset about the cost of gas until it hits $4 per gallon. Well, we definitely feel the pain now, don't we?

But Now We Have An Alternative!
|
|
|
|
Fortunately for us, there have been people who did care about this technology and have been readying themselves for this day. And so, we do have an alternative. Whew! I'm personally really glad to hear that, because it's pretty obvious that the political and industrial machinery that drives this oil and gas process is in no hurry to make it easier on us small guys. Fine!
|
|
|
|
I'd love to blame the Washington politicians, and auto manufacturers, oil executives and commodities speculators. And they are desrving of some blame. But that won't solve anything. With BILLIONS of dollars of profits at stake, they're not going to do more than pay lip service to our energy woes.
|
|
|
|
So, we're just going to have to do this ourselves.
|
|
|
|
|

As frustrating as it all is, the good news is that we don't have to take it.

We don't have to cross our fingers and waste more time hoping that politicians finally grow some balls and stand up to lobbyists.
|
|

We don't have to buy into the BS we hear from Exxon and Shell and BP when they tell us they're doing everything they can, but it will take TEN YEARS before alternative energy resources become widely available. |
|
|
|
|
We don't have to hunker down and tough it out waiting for GM and Ford to build cars that deliver 40 - 50 M.P.G. and don't poison the air. |

|
